A Bomnubble Sweater
by Meli Alness
A Bomnubble Sweater* is knit seamlessly top-down with stranded colorwork, intarsia raglan shoulders with fitted sleeves, and a relaxed, short-waisted body. Knit it with our dreamily soft and warm 100% Tibetan yak down, “Embrace”, or substitute another DK yarn for a show-stopper sweater like no other!
*The name of this garment comes from Andrew Peterson’s Wingfeather Saga. The Bomnubble is a fierce creature that roams the Ice Prairies of Aerwiar. No doubt a Bomnubble is meant to remind us of another subjectively mythical creature known as the Abominable Snowman, or the Yeti 野人 (Wild Man) which is rumored to still roam the Himalayan peaks of Tibet.
