Strength Song is knit flat in one piece with minimal neckline shaping and a beautiful advanced-beginner-level lace pattern. It looks best in solid or tonal colorways and only requires 2 skeins of Reywa Fibers Haven (100% yak down, 2-ply fingering) for the sizes listed. The pattern includes instructions for modifications for larger sizes.

Strength Song Pattern
While recovering from 7 days in a coma, two surgeries, and an unplanned international move, I was painfully aware of my weakness in nearly every aspect of life. The task of caring for two young children felt impossible. As I feebly fought depression and despair, my counselor reminded me of long-ago Paul, who, for Christ’s sake, delighted in weakness, “for when I am weak, then I am strong.” Owning my weakness to my children could be powerfully beautiful. And then the healing challenge: create something with the appearance of weakness but powerful in beauty. Three years later, here it is… Strength Song
